More or Less: Mixed Bag

1 Question, 2 Options. Which one wins? Everybody answers at once.

Two things appear side by side with a question between them, and you tap the one you think wins. No numbers until everybody has answered. Then both land at once, with a line telling you why the answer is what it is.

The question changes every round. Heavier, older, further north, more sugar, longer-lived. You are guessing the scale of things rather than remembering facts, which is why people who are hopeless at pub quizzes often win this.

Everybody answers at the same time, so ten players take no longer than three. About ten minutes a game.

How each way works

Friends playing More or Less: Mixed Bag on a television they can all see, each with a phone

Play with a group in your room

A TV, laptop or tablet — a phone each

Put the pair on a television, laptop or tablet and let everybody answer on their own phone. This is the mode the game is best in: both numbers land on one screen the whole room is already looking at, so everybody groans at the same instant.
