So They Say

Everybody invents an answer. Find the truth, and fool everybody else.

A true sentence appears with a gap in it. Everybody types something that could fill the gap. The fakes are shuffled in with the real answer, with no names attached, and then everybody votes for the line they think is true.

You score for finding the truth, and you score every time somebody picks your invention instead. The best rounds are the ones where a made-up answer sounds far more believable than the real one, which happens more often than you would expect.

If you already know the real answer you can say so while you write, take the points and sit the vote out. Eight facts a game, four to eight players.

  2. Type something that would fit. If you know the real answer, say so and take the points.
  3. The fakes and the truth are shuffled together. Vote for the line you think is real.
  4. The truth is worth 2 points. Every vote your fake attracts is worth 1.
  5. Eight facts. Highest score wins.

Do I need to install anything?
